90 Mile Beach...

So yesterday we drove from mallacoota to a place called bairnsdale. It was a nice drive with some very beautiful beaches. We were very fortunate to find a room in bairnsdale we had been looking for about 3 hours in previous towns and such when we finally found bairnsdale. It was a nice little town but nothing was open and so we just called it a night. Today we drove from there to a town called Wonthaggi. We stopped at a couple awesome places. One was the 90 mile beach and the other was Eagles nest. The 90 mile beach was amazing it was about 100 feet wide and just strethed in either direction as far as the eye could see. Dad and I hiked on down the beach skipping rocks and looking for shells just enjoying the sand and the sun. Then we moved on and on the way to wonthaggi we just drove past the eagles nest and thought we would stop by and see it. It was awesome, these pictures I took when I jumped over the guard rail and headed down to the side of the cliff. There were people surfing down in the cove below us so we hung around for a while and watched them. It was a very nice relaxing day. Tomorrow we are going to go to Phillip Island and watch the penguins there then we are going to get one more room before returning our car on tuesday and getting ready for our super long flight back. Thanks again for following along with us on this incredible journey. Until tomorrow see ya around.
